​Tennis Court with Coaching

Play on a scenic court among vineyards with views of Simonsberg. Your host, Carin van Rensburg, a certified provincial coach and active competitor in South Africa’s veteran tennis league, offers private or group lessons. She’s ranked nationally in the WS 55–60 category and has represented South Africa in International Tennis Federation (ITF) Masters events. Rackets and balls available on request.

Freshwater Swimming Pool

Cool off in our large, cemented farm dam filled with natural spring water from Franschhoek Mountain. Ideal for summer dips and peaceful lounging.

Historic Gardens

Wander through century-old gardens blooming seasonally. A tranquil way to connect with nature and enjoy the estate’s heritage charm.

Wine Cellar Tour & Tasting

Join Johan in the historic La Provence cellar for a guided tasting straight from the vats. Sample his handcrafted wines, including his renowned port.

Ostrich Feeding Experience

Meet Jack and Susie, our resident ostriches. Guests can feed them by hand and learn about their nesting habits during summer months.

Peach Picking & Packing (November)

During harvest season, guests are invited to pick and pack peaches—and enjoy the sweet taste of fresh fruit straight from the orchard.

Wine Harvesting (Feb–March)

Join Johan in the vineyard to pick grapes, observe the pressing process, and taste fresh grape juice and fermenting must. See Merlot, Cabernet, and Semillon in the making.

Explore the estate’s trails through orchards and vineyards, or hike to the 1,618m Wemmershoek Mountain peak. Our friendly Lassie Collies often join as guides.
